Xuanhao Luo

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at North Carolina State University, advised by Dr. Yuchen Liu. I also work closely with Dr. Zhiyuan Peng. I worked at Lenovo Research as a research intern, focusing on LLM safety. Previously, I was a research intern at the Data Lab of Syracuse University, where I worked with Dr. Reza Zafarani and Dr. Xinyi Zhou.

My research focuses on generative modeling for autonomous network systems. I study how learning-based approaches can transform network data across its lifecycle, including generation, compression, and reasoning, to enable scalable communication and adaptive network control toward AI-native systems. My work has been published in venues such as IEEE JSAC, IEEE TMC, IEEE TCCN, IEEE PerCom, IEEE WoWMoM, IEEE ICC, and IFIP Networking.
